Contest Chairmen & Hosts meeting: The meeting date for the chairmen of all winter & spring UIL contests will be on Tuesday evening, January 17, 2012, in the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center. Starting time will be approximately 6 PM; Dinner will be provided. The meeting time usually runs between 2 - 2-1/2 hours.

The UIL Music Executive Committee requires that ALL contest chairmen attend this meeting. We have set this date well in advance, so that all Contest Chairmen can put this on their calendars. The Committee has stipulated that 20% of your total honorarium is contigent on your attendance at this meeting. It has NOT worked well to have a "proxy" rather than the actual chairman. Invariably, those are the contests which encounter problems.
