Due to a recently developed conflict, it has become necessary for us to change the date of the Contest Chairmen meeting. We sincerely hope that this does not cause you any inconvenience. The meeting has been re-scheduled as listed below. Contest Chairmen & Hosts meeting: The meeting date for the chairmen of all winter & spring UIL contests will be on Tuesday evening, January 22, 2008, in the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center. Starting time will be 6 PM; Dinner will be provided. The meeting time usually runs between 2 - 2-1/2 hours. The UIL Music Executive Committee requires that ALL contest chairmen attend this meeting. The Committee has stipulated that 20% of your total honorarium is contingent on your attendance at this meeting. It has NOT worked well to have a "proxy" rather than the actual chairman. Invariably, those are the contests which encounter problems. |
